Let's Go Fly a Kite!

Steven and Brooklyn decided they wanted to fly the kites even though there was not very much wind. Brooklyn had so much fun, and so did Steven!

San Diego

Happy Father's Day! We are so lucky to have such an awesome Dad!!! Luv U!!!

We took a little road trip down to San Diego to visit Jaime, Jeremy, Kamryn and Macy. It just happened to also be Father's Day, which was funny because we were in San Diego last year for Father's Day too! We had a great time, the kids rode their bikes and drove Kamryn's Barbie Jeep, I don't think the smile left Brooklyn's face the whole time she was on the Jeep! Ashlyn and Macy had a turn in the Jeep, they were both so happy just to be sitting in it! The kids explored Kamryn's backyard and made a journal of their findings, it was so cute. Brooklyn was fhe finder, Kamryn was the artist who drew what Brooklyn found and Carson was the drawing inspector. We also went to this really fun park that had a little area where water shot out of the ground and the kids would run through it. Kind of like when we were all kids and our parents turned on the old sprinklers in the yard. :) That night we went to dinner at BJ's to get our annual free Father's Day glass, we are starting a collection/tradition! We had such a fun time, wish we could have stayed longer!

Funny

Brooklyn is now officially a big girl! She has a big bed! She is so happy and actually has stayed in her own bed for two nights! Way to go Brooklyn!

The other day she was eating her lunch and said she was tired, I didn't think she would fall asleep on the chair though!!! So funny!

We had some friends over for the Lakers game and I didn't have my camera out but I could not resist Axton and Ashlyn sitting on the chairs!!! They are so cute!

Happy Birthday Carson!

Our Boy turned 5! I can't believe how fast the past 5 years have gone by! Now we put our baby, toddler and preschooler years behind us and move on to a whole new chapter of life.

We had a Birthday Party on his birthday, June 11th. We got a bounce house, a piniata, some cookies and he invited all of his friends. The kids had so much fun on the bouncy slide and running around at the park! Carson had a really cool transformer piniata that would not break but at least every one got a turn to hit it! Carson had a great Birthday! Happy Birthday to our big C-dub!!!

Grad

Our friend Aspen graduated from 6th grade on Friday from Ocean View Elementary School! Congrats Aspen!

Santa Barbara Zoo.

We got to take a trip to the Santa Barbara Zoo! We saw Lions, Gorilla, Giraffes, flamingos, some alligators and a few other animals. The kids favorite part is sliding down the grass slide. We always sit and eat our lunch by the elephants, it is fun to watch them! We love the Zoo!
