fun a school

Ashlyn's Parent Participation class is a lot of fun for us both! We have met some nice new friends and had fun making crafts!

Party

My sister Vanessa turned 26, so we went over to my parents house for a little dinner and cake. Brooklyn loved the pretty pink cake with edible roses that Nana made! We got her a really pretty wall picture with a model wearing a butterfly dress and a jewelry tree with a butterfly on it and the Dr. Suess book, One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Happy Birthday Nessa!

Graduation

Grady Graduated from PetSmart Pet trainning school! He learned all about sitting, staying, coming when called, leave it, and a few other things all good dogs should know. Way to go Grady!

passing out the snacks

Ashlyn loves passing out things to the other two kids! Today it was fruit snacks, but it could be anything from vitamins, paper, toothbrushes, snacks, really anything she just loves being in charge in that way!

Bed time!

So the other night as I was putting the kids to bed, Ashlyn was reaching over her crib screaming "that one, that one" and pointing to Brooklyn's bed. She was wanting to sleep in Brooklyn's bed. The next day I was cleaning and rearranging the girls room and we decided to put up Ashlyn's big girl bed, but still keep the crib up just in case!!! Well, she took her nap in her Big Girl bed yesterday, slept all night last night, took her nap today and is asleep in it right now. We have been asking her which bed she wants to sleep in and she chooses the big girl bed. I think that she is ready for this big change but it makes me sad that my baby is growing up!

Zoo Day

We went to the Santa Barbara Zoo last Friday because Carson's school had a teacher work day. We met up with some of our friends and had a blast running around checking out all the animals! The Elephants were right by the fence so we were really close to them! We also played on the grass hill and Ashlyn thought it was hilarious watching the kids come flying down the hill! She and I went down together a few times and then she wanted to do it all by her self! We had so much fun, we will be going back to the zoo soon!

Books before Bed

Carson had been learning how to read in school and practicing at home! It is so amazing to hear him sound out the words and really read to us!

Party

Brooklyn got to go to her friend Anna's Birthday party. The girls made crowns, drank pink lemonade and had cupcakes and other treats! It was such a cute little girl party! Brooklyn made Anna a necklace with her name on it and was so excited to give it to her!
