First Day of School

Carson and Brooklyn both had their first day of school today! Carson is a old pro at all this! Brooklyn and I go to parent participation but to her it is preschool!

Yeah, we love school!

Carson and Brooklyn had their first pet! We caught a moth in the kitchen yesterday am and they decided to have it be their pet. We let it go today so that he could go home!

This week Ashlyn has discovered her hands and is trying to figure out what she is supposed to do with them! I love all of the little stages babies go through!

Days of Summer

We went to the Beach and Jared got Carson out on the Boogie Board and then Carson got taken out by a wave. We thought he would for sure not want to go back in but he did! Yeah!

Brooklyn is finally learning how to pedal her own bike. and she loves to dress her self!

Hungry Hippos! Such a fun game! Carson always wins!

The little princess is getting so big and doing a really good job holding her head up! Go Ashlyn!

Everyday Carson asks if we know what he wants to do. He loves his bike and can't get enough of it!

We went to our friends Zach and Natlalie's house for breakfast a few sat. ago and played half the day away! What a blast!

On Wed. we go to Boo boo records for music time and afterwards we visit the waterfall by the mission.

We love the silly slide park, aka chumash park! Carson and his friend James are pretending to be dragons! Boys are so funny!

Avila Barn is always a good time! We feed the goats, cows, ducks, sheep, donkeys and they just got some new baby pigs!

They have a fun hay pile to climb up on too and a perfect pic spot for mom!

Loving the Central Coast!

We took a walk on the pismo pier and got to see a lot of people fishing and actually catching some fish! We love living by the beach!!!

Summer days

Carson and Brooklyn have made our kitchen table into their dog house. They hang out under there and play pretend. It is so cute to see them really getting along and learning from each other!

We go to the beach every wed with our ward. It is a lot of fun!

Oh... the ZOO!!! We took a little trip to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Our friends Janette, Colon and Dylan met us there.

Poor fish, they thought they were being fed but it was only dirt!

Ashlyn's Blessing

Ashlyn was blessed at church on Aug. 2nd.
Jared gave a beautiful blessing!
Ashlyn wore the dress that me and my sister wore. so special!!!
Jared's Dad came but his Mom got the flu, my parents and my little bro Steven came too!

Bon fire

Last Friday we took some wood to the beach and had a bon fire. We roasted hotdogs and ate poptart snores! It was so much fun, it was a first for all the kids.

We were so lucky, we saw some whales just off the shore eating. It was so amazing!

Summer is so much fun!
