these two boys have known each other since before they could crawl, and now they are big first graders. It is so fun that even though each of our families have moved apart for about 4 years and have only visited once or twice in those 4 years, we are both back in the central coast and can reconnect!

Carson's Soccer

Carson is also playing soccer right now and I am his coach. It is a lot of fun being involved with the kids! Carson has learned so much since last year! Our team name is the Dragons.

Carson's Hockey

Carson started Roller Hockey last week. He loves it and is doing great! My brother Mike is his coach and their team is called the penguins. They were supposed to have their first game on Friday but right after we got there one single rain cloud came right over the rink and dumped just enough rain so they could not play. It was really weird! Carson was a little disappointed but they will play next week!

Ashlyn's Field Trip

We went to the Avila Barn with Ashlyn's class for a field trip. We got to ride the tractor out to the apple orchards and then pick our own apples and munch on a few on the way. Ashlyn really loved the animals but did not want to feed them, she wanted me to give them the food. The cow was really scary to her, she would not even go near it with me holding her.

Fun Girls

Brooklyn wanted me to take a picture and then she wanted control of the camera and was telling us what to do. It was pretty silly!

visit from friends

Jared's friend from High School and his family came to visit for a weekend. We went out to Avila Beach and got to see a lot of pelicans, and a bunch of sea lions really close up. My mom watched all the kids so we could go to dinner and a movie. We also went to the beach and played in the waves and sand.

We had a really fun time down in San Diego this last weekend. I got to hold the new baby Grant and the kids played great together! We went to yogurt on Friday night, swimming on Sat and played some games at night. We all had a great trip!

My sewing projects

I made this lollipop shirt for Brooklyn last night. It was really easy and it turned a unworn black T-shirt in to a colorful fun shirt that she will wear!

Dance Class

We signed Brooklyn up for a Dance class and her first class was on Tuesday. She had a fun time and she has 3 friends in her class which makes it a lot more fun!

Block party

My parents Block has a party every year on Labor day, this year was the 23rd annual block party. The kids had a great time, Carson played hockey the whole time. He loves it! The girls ran around with my sister's boyfriend's Daughter Autum. I love the block party!

Our months baby friend

Brooklyn and Ashlyn love months babies and we have a friend that comes over and the girls want to hold him the whole time.

Carson is having a really fun time in 1st grade. He plays soccer at recess. He just got his first week on homework!

Brooklyn's first day of school

Brooklyn had her first day of school on Monday. She was so excited until we got there. All of the sudden she got really mad and did not want to go in to school. It was not like her at all, especially when she has been going to this preschool for over a year! At pick up her teachers said that she did just fine after a few min. Silly B!!!
