First Day of school

The night before the first day of school we go out to dinner as a family and the kids chose olive garden, then we let them pick out a new outfit for their first day of school.  Carson and Brooklyn were both excited for their first day.  Brooklyn got Mrs. Brownlee as her teacher, Carson also had her for Kinder so B knows her pretty well!  Carson's teacher's name is Mrs. Janich. he has a few of his friends in his class, which makes it so much more fun!

Last Day of Summer

What a way to end the summer!  A perfect day at the beach with our friends and snow cones to top it off!

Class list

Carson and Brooklyn got to go up to the school to find out who there teacher was going to be and who else would be in their class.  They were so excited!

Open House for the Newly Weds

Stephane put on a wonderful Open House for Jeff and Justine.  The kids had a blast running around playing with their cousins and a few friends.  The food was great and it was not cold outside, just a few sprinkles of rain.

Tehachapi

Sunday after the open house we spent some time with the family and celebrated Grant's 1st Birthday.  Carson and Kamryn are so hilarious, they were playing Ninjago all weekend!  Grandma got some reading time in with the girls!

Brooklyn's trip to Claire's

Brooklyn has been wanting to get her ears pierced for a long time.  We made a deal that after she got her kindergarten shots she could get them done.  So right after she got her shots she was ready and we went to claire's that night.  Lucky for us there were two ladies working so she was able to get them both done at the same time!  Brooklyn was nervous and almost did not want to do it but then Jared went to the bathroom and we surprised him when he got back she was all done!  She loves her earrings!

Camping in the Backyard

The kids really wanted to go camping so I said yes!  In the backyard!  I did not want to sleep in the tent with them so I slept on my hammock.  It was a great night, all the kids slept the whole night!  It was a great camping trip!
